Canada expanding assisted dying

According to news sources, Canadian government is seeking to enhance the medicalassisted death available to more people. This will allow Canadians with certain diseases like cerebral palsy and other degenerative diseases to seek death by medical assistance. More than 13,000 medical-assisted deaths have been reported to have occurred in Canada. Two-thirds of the patients who died thus cited cancer as the underlying reason. According to the Bill C-14, a physician or nurse practitioner can directly administer to the requestor or prescribe a substance to self-administer, that causes death
